I am currently making some changes and the content will probably be changing quite a bit over the next few months so visit often to find out what I am up to (if anything... he he) and pics of the pups (okay, they are not really 'pups' anymore... but they will always be my pups).

What I do
By trade I am an IT Professional that specializes in high end network design and security.
I work as a consultant based in Nashville, TN.
I was trained in the US Army to work with Information Technology and have enjoyed a good amount of success in the civilian sector since I have been out (5 years as of the time of this writing).
But I am more than the sum of 'what' I do.
I fancy myself a modern day Renaissance man. I enjoy learning. I like to understand whatever it is that fills my time. I am not content knowing something works, but rather have to understand how/why I do what I do.

I am a Christian first.
I am currently studying for the pastorate under my pastor at my church.
Next I am a husband to my wife.
She was my Junior High sweet heart and has been a great wife to me.
Tied to that is: Next I am a father.
I have three terrific kids. 1 daughter and 2 sons. They bring a LOT of joy and energy into my life.
Next I am an animal lover. I love to learn, watch, care for, be around animals. I always have. Lord willing, I always will.
We have two Great Danes. And they are both GREAT! They are both rescues.
Liam is a male merle and Suzzie is a female fawniquin.
They are a lot of fun and a lot of love. Suzzie is the free and fun spirit while Liam is a very gentle and calm dog. They are a great pair.
